Giola is a beautiful natural lagoon located near the village of Astris on the Island of Thassos in Greece. It is like a swimming pool beautifully carved into the rocks. Giola is relatively unknown to the public and the access to that place is very difficult. However, if one can go there s/he will be rewarded with amazing and breathtaking view of the lagoon. Swimming is a pleasant experience in Giola as the water in the lagoon is warmer than that of the sea.
