Asia is the world's largest continent covering approximately 30% of the planet's land area. The continent is full of many geographic blessings. No other continent in the world boasts greater extremes than Asia. It is also home to a tapestry of cultures and histories that make for a unique travel portal. There are so many beautiful countries in Asia that it is really a hard task to choose the most beautiful countries in the continent. However, I have tried my best to make the list of 10 most beautiful countries in Asia.

1. China



China is a country of supreme natural beauty. Even more powerful is its cultural, intellectual, and spiritual beauty. It is said that China is a world unto itself - a jigsaw of historic change, geographic diversity and spiritual wonder. This massive country is home to so many natural wonders. China is also home to some of the greatest man-made structures in the world.
  
2. Thailand


Thailand is a small country that contains many amazing natural attractions. The country attracts many tourists because of its natural beauty. Thailand is most popular for its magnificent beaches and spicy delicious foods. This nation's breathtaking natural beauty is surpassed only by its people. Thailand is also home to some of the world's oldest, largest and most elaborate Buddhist temples. 

3. Philippines


Located at the very eastern edge of Asia, the Philippines are home to more than 7,000 islands. The country is full of beautiful natural beauty from pristine beaches to many marvelous natural wonders. There are many interesting historic sites in the country. The Philippines pack many exciting things to see and do for a lifetime experience.

4. Maldives


Maldives is regarded as a tropical paradise that feels like a dream world. There are Hundreds of lush islands, lined with the whitest sandy beaches, and surrounded by the clear bluest of water. Situated several kilometers south of Bhilwara in the Indian state of Rajasthan, Chittorgarh Fort is the largest fort in India. It is one of the one of the most beautiful forts in the country and possibly the grandest in the state of Rajasthan. The fort, plainly known as Chittor, spread majestically over an area of 692 acres atop a 180 meter high hill.



Chittorgarh Fort, considered to be the largest fort of India in terms of area, was constructed by the Mauryans during the 7th century AD. The fort was named after the Mauryan ruler Chitrangada Mori. It was the capital of the erstwhile kingdom of Mewar for 834 years. The fort was seized by Emperor Akbar in 1567 and was consequently abandoned in 1568.



The historical fort of Chittorgarh is studded with a series of historical palaces, gates, temples and two prominent commemoration towers. These monumental ruins have been a popular destination and inspired the imagination of tourists for centuries. Chittorgarh Fort represents the quintessence of tribute to the nationalism, courage, medieval chivalry and sacrifice exhibited by the Mewar rulers of Sisodia and their kinsmen and women and children.

It has so many beautiful places that it is really a tough job to make a list of 10 most beautiful places. However, I have tried my best to present you the best choices. 1. Agra:


Agra is possibly the most beautiful place in India since it is home to one of the greatest eternal symbols of love - The Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is one of the finest buildings of the world and is among the seven wonders of the world. Agra is world famous for its Taj Mahal and is the most visited city in India. Other beautiful places in Agra include the beautiful marble worked tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah and the imposing Agra Fort.

2. Kashmir:


Kashmir is possibly the most beautiful natural landscape in India. Kashmir is regarded as the Haven on Earth, and it is rightly so. Possessing some of the highest and most beautiful mountain peaks, massive glaciers, blue lakes, rivers, forests, and meadows, Kashmir has been referred to a paradise on earth since ancient times. It is home to Himalayan Ranges.

3. Goa:


Goa is the smallest state of India and is known for its exotic beaches with amazing sunset view, golden sand and coconut palms playing with the wind. The Ajanta Caves are rock-cut cave monuments dating from the 2th century BC. The magnificent Ajanta caves were abandoned around 650 AD and forgotten until 1819, when a British hunting party stumbled upon them. These splendid architectural wonders portray the rich heritage of India. The city of Aurangabad is the gateway to the Ajanta Caves as well as the equally spectacular Ellora Caves. Since 1983, the Ajanta & Ellora Caves have been a UNSCO Wrold Heritage site.

The Valley of Flowers is a national park located in the upper reaches of the Himalayas. It is famous for its outstanding natural beauty, endangered animals and endemic alpine flowers. The park is a true paradise for botanists and anybody else who loves the glory of nature. It stands true to its name, with several species of exotic flowers to be seen here.



Nestled in the west Himalayan region, Valley of Flowers covers a vast expanse of 87.50 square kilometers with myriad alpine flowers. It is situated in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state of India at an elevation of 3,658 meters above the sea level. The region remains completely covered with thick blankets of snow during winters. However, it comes alive with a riot of colors with blooming flowers in summer which appear as a bright carpet of color against a mountainous snow capped background.



The main Valley of Flowers is a glacial corridor, around five kilometers long and two kilometers wide. You will encounter numerous cascading waterfalls on the route to Valley of Flowers. You need to cover a slightly difficult trek in order to feel the bliss of this national park. Best time to visit Valley of Flowers is from July to August, this is the when climates remain best to trek this beautiful valley.



The Valley of Flowers National Park is the second core zone of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve. The park, with its gentler landscape, breath-taking beautiful meadows of alpine flowers and ease of access, complements the rugged, inaccessible, high mountain wilderness of Nanda Devi. This richly diverse area is also home to rare and endangered animals, including the Asiatic black bear, snow leopard, brown bear and blue sheep.


The credit for the discovery of the Valley of Flowers goes to the British mountaineers Frank S. Smythe, Eric Shipton and R.L. Holdsworth who incidentally reached this valley after a successful expedition of Mount Kamet in 1931. The valley was full of flowers and they were attracted by the beauty of the area. Upon their return they named the valley as Valley of Flowers. The Valley of Flowers was established as a national park of India with effect from 6 November 1982 and it is now a world heritage site.

1. Dal Lake


Dal lake, the iconic destination of the Kashmir valley, is one of the most beautiful lakes of India. It is a Himalayan urban lake with five basins and a number of channels that are linked with each other. 2. Pangong Lake


The Pangong Lake, also known as Pangong Tso, is one of the salient features of ladakh. Spread over an area of about 600 square kilometers, Pangong Lake is 40 miles in length and nearly 5 kilometers in width at its broadest point. At a height of 4267 meters above the sea level, the Pangong Lake extends from Ladakh to China and two thirds of the length of this lake lies in Tibet. The alluring beauty of the lake and its natural scenic views make it seem like a landscape painted. Its enduring to see how the lake changes colors every season due to its salinity.

3. Tsomoriri Lake


Picturesquely situated in secluded, breathtakingly beautiful Rupshu Valley, the high-altitude Tso Moriri Lake is fewer than 250 kilometers southeast of Leh. Tsomoriri Lake is another jewel in the crown of Ladakh situated at an altitude of 4,511 meters above sea level. The lake remains frozen in the winter from December until March. It forms the floor of a huge enclosed basin, fed by two main streams, one from the north side and other from the south�west. This landscape hosts extensive areas of wetlands and sheltered bays with small islands. The calmness of the lake is just perfect for meditation.

4. Kashmir Valley


Located between the Karakoram and the Pir Panjal Range in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, Kashmir Valley is no doubt the most beautiful destination in India. Kashmir valley is famous for its beautiful mountainous landscape. 5. Zanskar Valley


Snuggled between the Great Himalayas to the south and the Zanskar mountains to the north, the Zanskar Valley is one of the most remote places of India. It lies sandwiched between the Kashmir valley and the Lahaul valleys to its south and the Indus valley of Ladakh to its North. Zanskar valley is filled with small hamlets, less population and gorgeous views and with this range you have plenty of chances to start clicking perfect moments. The pass is about 40 km from the town of Leh, and an important destination for those seeking adventure. Hundreds of bikers ride to Leh every year and subsequently to Khardung-La, 52 kilometers from Leh. Adventure seekers come here for a thrilling mountain biking experience and a road trip. The views you get from this amazing mountain pass are just breathtaking.

7. Nubra Valley


Located about 150 kilometers from the town of Leh, Nubra Valley is amongst the greenest valleys in the region. It is also referred to as the valley of flowers, because it is covered with some really beautiful flowers during the summer months. Once dotted with garlands of camel and yak caravans, the romance of the Silk Route still hangs in the air as you cross the formidable Khardung La Pass. A trek through the valley is one of the easier treks in Ladakh, but not any less beautiful.

8. Nagin Lake


Nagin Lake acquired its name from the trees that surrounds it. The lake is a beautiful deep blue colored lake. It is one of the most mesmerizing parts of Dal Lake and is sometimes referred to as jewel in the ring. The lake has a number of houseboats in it. Its surroundings reside in tranquility which is well desired by people in their lives apart from their hectic schedules of daily life. The water of this lake is very much less polluted and hence it is appoint worth mentioning in today�s polluted world.

Khajjiar is a small hill station in the beautiful Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is located approximately 24 kilometers from Dalhousie, another hill station in the region, and is surrounded by mountains and rambling vegetation. Sitting on a small plateau with a small stream-fed lake in the middle, Khajjiar is one of the most beautiful places in Himachala Pradesh.



Khajjiar is home to a number of tourist spots which are known for their scenic beauty. It has a sprawling vegetation of deodars, pines and rhododendrons. There are also beautiful lakes and streams in the area. 



Khajjiar in Himachal Pradesh is located at an altitude of around 1960 meters. It offers a beautiful panoramic view of the densely populated forests and the meadows and snowy peaks of Himalayas. Khajjiar is popularly referred to as the Switzerland of India.
