Bangkok is a beautiful city in Thailand. It is possibly one of the most beautiful and sought after destinations in Asia. Bangkok's attractions include the dazzling temples, spectacular palaces, world-famous floating market and the colorful Chinatown. The city is home to some of the most amazing Buddhist temples in Asia.
1. The Grand Palace
The Grand Palace is considered as Thailand's most majestic and recognizable landmark. The palace used to be the main residence of precious monarchs. Today, it has become a regular venue for important state and religious functions in Bangkok.
2. Temple of the Emerald Buddha
The temple of the Emerald Buddha is an exquisite and sparkling structure with golden stupas. Located within the Grand Palace compound, the temple houses Thailand's the most holy relic, the 75-centimeter tall Emerald Buddha. It was built in 1782.
3. The Erawan Shrine
The Erawan Shrine is a popular shrine, built in honor of Brahma, the Hindu god of creation. It draws devotees daily from every corner of the globe seeking blessings and good fortunes through dances, incense-burning and floral offerings.
4. Temple of Dawn
Temple of Dawn is another famous temple in Bangkok. Built during the Ayutthaya era, the temple is found across the Chao Phraya River. It got its name after a dawn visit by King Rama I. The most interesting thing about the temple is that it glows at sunset.
5. Vimanmek Mansion
Vimanmek Mansion was built as the royal residence of King Rama IV. Built in 1901, it is the largest golden teak structure in the world. Today, the mansion functions as a museum for royal memorabilia.
6. Marble Temple
The Marble Temple is another beautiful Buddhist temple in Bangkok. It was built in 1901 during the reign of King Rama V. The temple differs from other Buddhist temples of the time because of its European ecclesiastic design.
7. Royal Barge Museum
The Royal Barge Museum houses a fleet of royal barges. The barges are used occasionally for special royal ceremonious on the Chao Phrya River. They are long and ornately decorated.
8. Temple of the Golden Buddha
Temple of the Golden Buddha is the home to the largest solid gold Buddha image in the world. It image weighs more than five tons. Located near Chinatown, the temple is one of Bangkok's top tourist attractions.
9. City Pillar Shrine
City Pillar Shrine was erected to mark the founding of Bangkok more than two centuries ago. The shrine draws a daily flock of devotees in colorful costumes who come to present offerings and perform dance rituals.

Located in the Tenasserim Hills, in Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand, Erawan National Park is beautiful national park. Founded in 1975, the park covers an area of 550 square kilometers. Erawan National Park is Thailand's 12 national park and is one of the most beautiful parks in the country. Erawan National Park has many attractions including beautiful cascading waterfalls and mysterious caves.
However, the main attraction of the park is the amazing Erawan Falls, which has 7 different levels. The waterfall is named after the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology - the Erawan. The seven levels of the falls are said to resemble the Erawan. Erawan National Park is home to four mysterious caves. The caves are - Mi, Rua, Wang Bahdan, and Phartat.
